Description

Our Decathlon Quechua 2 Second Fresh & Black 3-person Tent is designed to be easy to set up and take down, with a pop-up mechanism that allows it to be set up in just two seconds. It can comfortably accommodate up to three people and features a Fresh & Black technology that keeps the interior of the tent cool and dark, even in bright sunlight. The Fresh & Black technology uses a special fabric that reflects sunlight and reduces heat absorption, helping to keep the tent up to 17°C cooler than a standard tent. The black fabric also helps to block out light, creating a darker environment for sleeping. The tent also features a waterproof and breathable outer layer, as well as a mesh door and ventilation panels for increased airflow. The Pop-Up Tent is designed to be weather-resistant, with a focus on keeping you dry and comfortable in wet conditions. The waterproof outer layer, taped seams, waterproof flooring, and waterproof zippers ensure that water stays out of the tent, keeping you dry and comfortable no matter the weather. The tent features flexible fiberglass poles that are designed to bend and flex with the wind, reducing the risk of the tent collapsing or being damaged in high winds up to 30 MPH! It comes with a carry bag for easy transportation and storage.

Highlights:

  • The 2 Second tent can be set up in seconds ! Release the straps and let the magic happens. You can forget the stress of normal tent set up. It is also free standing and can be moved very easily.
  • 3 season tent: from spring to fall, it's adapted to all weather conditions (wind, rain, sun, heat...)
  • Weight: 9.3 lbs. We recommend it for car camping or very short walk to campsite due to its bulky packaging.
  • Ideal for 3 people up to 6'9” tall - average sized people will have plenty of space for storage inside the tent.
  • 2-year warranty and spare parts availble.
  • Black Out technology for good nights sleep when there is light out.
  • Fresh Technology keeping you cool even in a warm environment by reflecting sun rays and isolating light thanks to a specific fabric.

Wonderful and short introduction to plate tectonics for those with little background in Earth science or mathematics
Format: Paperback
Molnar does an excellent job explaining key elements of plate tectonics. His book is understandable even for those with little background in geology or geophysics. Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form. He also questions the limitations of plate tectonics in explaining formation of such mountains. Understanding Molnar's very short book requires little mathematics. An ideal text for college science courses for non-science majors, and for those who want to understand the evolution of Earth's geological features and phenomena.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

Very short and very good
Format: eTextbook
I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland. I really liked revisiting the theory in light of the advances made since then
